Perfect Tyranny

Dopo quattro anni e’ pronto Perfect Tyranny, il secondo disco degli Ikan Method.

Come il precedente e’ ispirato al progressive rock degli anni 80 e 90, quindi pezzi molto melodici e orecchiabili ma allo stesso tempo molto energici, con influenze sia tendenti al metal che AOR , a volte dissonanti, ma sempre con una propria personalità.

I testi trattano di come sempre di più, nell’era digitale, l’individuo e’ trattato come una entità che deve essere controllata e educata a consumare, senza avere pensieri che divergono dal pensiero unico in generale. Da questo concetto nascono domande e considerazioni nelle persone che, sapendo di non poter sfuggire totalmente dal sistema, cercano di vivere consapevolmente passando tra le maglie di questa rete globale in cui sono intrappolati.

Siamo sotto la dittatura perfetta, dove siamo noi stessi a chiedere di essere sottomessi

After four years Perfect Tyranny, the Ikan Method second album is finished !

Like the first album it is inspired by the progressive rock of the 80s and 90s, so very
melodic and catchy songs, but at the same time very energetic, with influences both tending towards metal and AOR, sometimes dissonant, but always with its own personality.

The lyrics deal with how more and more, in the digital age, the individual is treated as an entity that must be controlled and educated to consume, without having thoughts that diverge from the single thought in general. From this concept arise questions and considerations in people who, knowing that they cannot totally escape from the system, try to live consciously by passing through the meshes of this global web in which they are trapped.

We are under the perfect tyranny, where we ourselves demand to be subdued
